Another Small Showing of My Photography - Holga...

It's good to have goals, it is way cool when you achieve them.
When you exceed them, it feels even cooler than when you achieved them.
And that is what I have done, I have achieved my goal of having a small showing of my photography, and am having a second one!
This time, I am showing some of my Holga photographs, at the same coffee shop in downtown Salt Lake. I am showing six photographs, up from five!
So see how easy it is! So get out there and show your stuff!

    Awesome Brian!

I think you're right, it's great to have goals and even better to break them ;)

    Cool Congratulations Brian!

This is great. You have to feel so good. It's not just that your photographs are on display, but people are getting to know your name....and will recognize it when they see more of your images.

    Way to go!

That's great! The more you do it, the more people will know you as a photographer, too. Guess I gotta work on setting some goals - actually getting out to shoot more so I have something to show...

    Congrats!

    That's great!

And not to steal your thunder, but I'm sitting in a cafe with 5 of my Holga images up too.
I don't have any photos of the walls, but everyone's favorite of the legs on the catamaran (in the toy camera gallery) is up. And you can see me right now typing on a lap top if you go here:

Megan, I don't think I see you at the moment, at least I don't see anyone with a laptop. But that's a really cool website and I LOVE the chalkboard home page!!!!!!

Brian, I took the "you're a model" statement as referring to your shadow picture.

    Re: Congrats!

Congratulations Brian - looking good, I'm sure you'll get a great reaction.

A friend of mine has set up a small arts centre which is opening in London next month - quite ridiculously he has just asked me for half a dozen of my pics to display there, and this is after having seen my stuff, so he can't even plead ignorance!

Apart from my family and a few friends seeing them, this site is the only place they are ever aired in public - I'd never even considered it before. I said yes of course, but the idea still seems crazy. Its only a small thing, but I'm very pleased to have been asked.

Well I have already taken the first step. I have contacted the Florida Writers Association, of which many memebers are bussiness owners and operators, about atending a meeting to discuss displaying my work for sale or as an exhibit. Plus I have a backer lined up, so that I can get my junk printed and framed.

    Thanks Brian!

    Good luck me!
