    I saw "abstracts" in the title and thought nah, not interested, but I was bored and looked .... WOW WOW WOW. These are all beautiful!! These look like money-makers to me!

    Nice thread and thanks for the tutorial - I just got Elements,last week,and it will help me to explore,next free time i have.

    Been laid up for a few days so the camera hasn't been busy and Rufus is getting a rest but will probably get out tomorrow.
    I decided to start messing about with Mike's instructions and after a couple straight ones did some experimenting.
    Where do you find the lighten blend mode using pse 6?
    Anyway here's my best so far.
    I wish I'd tilted it more, actually.

    frog - I don't know about PSE6, but the following screenshot from PSE5 shows where the blending modes (like 'lighten') can be accessed. It's that which gives the teardrop effect.
