Afternoon has started off slow, but it doesn't keep me from my appointed rounds. Just about every afternoon includes a trip to the bank and the post office.

Oh Paul I just can't imagine you behind a desk. You seem like a free spirit. I would have pictured you with a job that let your hair blow in the breeze.

Headed back to the office this is what downtown looks like through a tinted cracked windshield.

Back at the office for a couple of hours and than finally I turn the key and head out.

Joy and I both had appointments to have massages this afternoon. I surprised her when she came out. As she paid the pipper she told me she had already heard from several people that I was taking picturs of everyone in towns today and what was up. After a great relaxing massage I finally make it home.

No sooner am I home than I get to run an earn to the grocery store. After making my selections. I check out and have the oldest carry out boy on earth offer to carry my singe bag. This is a great guy who's named Doug that in order to keep medical insurance for his wife and himself must keep this job as well as being a partime county sheriffs deputy.

These are my afternoon shots. My night shots are coming as soon as night comes. I would have had a sunrise shot, but I was afraid that I would get bit by a rattlesnake and never be heard from again.

I on purpose planned a road trip out of the office to Deckers Colorado to check in on a small office there. This was on the road to Deckers.


We then passed a small biker bar, but the bikers were a little diffrent then the Harley bikers you would expect to see at a small bar.


This is a view of some big mountian off in the distance. Colorado is full of them.


Then about 1/4 mile away from the office I was visiting I saw this scene. It would have been even better, but I scared this little guy off into the woods. I really was trying to be quiet.


I also had a chance to get a couple good quick flower shots. They were in extreme daylight so the color isn't what I would like.



This is my desk. It is lame. I work in a storage room for real.



I am off to get some night shots that I think I will be pleased with. To the top of CASTLE ROCK I go!

Finally at home and getting to do the kind of photography that most of you know me for. Here are a couple form Joys garden. Oh I should add somewhere along the line that all the images I have posted in this thread I did with my P&S Fuji.

Oh puh-leeze - messy desk? Bunch of amateurs! Always like this? No, but right this very minute it is. No point in trying to make it pretty - couldn't get that done by midnight.

Forgot my camera this morning. What a knucklehead! A friend was coming into town and agreed to pick it up and bring it to me.

My car is LHD in a RHD world !
Yep, my car was designed for driving on the right side of the road in continental Europe - it's one of the first 70 customer cars (200 total) that were imported by Daimler-Chrysler back when the Smart Roadster was launched over here.
