    2 more Navy restoration photos

Here are a couple more that I did yesterday. This is a very time consuming process, but I think the end results are worth it. The second photo I thought would be a pretty quick fix, three hours later, I was finally done. I took a nap this afternoon and had a dream that I was spotting photos...

I'm not sure if I should have lightened the first shot as much as I did, but I want the viewer to see some detail... what do you think?

Hey Michael...I really like what you are doing with these photos...the 2nd one is awesome...I really like the first one and don't think you over lightened it...but, I do think you could go back in and do some spot touch up on the upper area of the photo to bring out the detail of the upper part. Otherwise, very nice...as ex-navy...it brings back some old memories...hehe..

Re: 2 more Navy restoration photos

Thanks Ken. I grabbed that second photo this weekend thinking it woudl be a pretty simple fix and I could move it into the done folder. I have over 50 of these to get done. Well, 3+ hours later, I was finally done with it. :s I will go back and do some more spotting on all of these once I get the major clean up out of the way. I had a dream this weekend that I was spotting photos, a very tedious process...

    Thanks again!
