I have an informal studio shoot this Saturday. Since I'm poor and can't afford strobes quite yet, I'm using a 500w and a 250w floodlight set-up, both with 3200K photoflood bulbs. Here are my questions:

1. Which will give a more accurate color balance, tungsten balanced film or 80A filters?
2. What temperature is tungsten film actually balanced for? 3200K? 3400K? Does it make a huge difference if you're off by a couple hundred degrees Kelvin?

This is actually only my second real studio shoot. My first was with halogen floods and no color correction pre-processing. Needless to say, everything white came out yellow-orange. After I adjusted the colors while printing at work, the closest I could get was either a slight orange cast or blue color cast. Now that I actually know how to fix most of the mistakes I made, I want whites to actually be white this time so I don't have to worry. And if I shoot slides (daylight or tungsten balanced), I can't adjust after the fact.

Help!

Again, thanks in advance. And yes, assuming all goes well, I'll post pics
