    studio/digital set-up

I was photographing a still life shot with a photographer using digital camera, and computer where the pictures are instantly transferred( i dont know the correct name!). after he took some test shot, i took some later on but i changed the exposure. some shot where too over and underexposed,i couldnt get it back to the correct exposure. When first starting a shoot, how do you start to get the right exposure with this kind of set up.

    Thanks.

Your question is a little confusing. That kind of setup has nothing to do with adjusting the exposure except you can see what you got right away. With a digital camera it's pretty easy to get do a rough adjustment on your exposure by looking at what you get on the screen and adjusting from there. Tell us what kind of camera you are using and with what kind of lighting. That will make it easier to answer your question.
