Alzo Flourescent Lights

Hey guys

Just wondering if anyone has worked with these lights before especially the 600 series with the umbrella diffusers.

I need some good flourescents that minimizes flicker. So far these looking promising. Price is nice too but not that much of a concern.

I am trying to remove as much shading detail as possible from human subjects. Making them as flat as I can. So my thought was to use a bunch of the Alzo 600s. And with no heat I dont have to worry about my subjects sweating.

Any thoughts on these? Should I be looking at other brands?

Why the need for the fluorescents. Studio strobes would be a cheaper and more versatile solution. You can get flat lighting with them, have a wider selection of modifiers and open up your available options. A bunch of Alzo 600s aren’t going to be cheap.
