Just saw and enjoyed some awesome photos of awesome cars!! I had the pleasure of driving an e-type Jag back in the 60's. Fit and finish sucked but who cared, it had the looks and performance. Also loved the Shelby Cobras. This would be Nirvana for me: A road race with multiple classes and their sounds as they downshift via heel and toe as they approach a big tight bend and the exhaust pipes crackle from a high whine of the smaller cars and the deep bass notes of the big horses then listen to them get thru the bend and then up shift thru the gears reving to the redline on their tachs getting up to max speed. As the commerical says "performance spoken here"!! Record that on a cd.
Nearly got wiped out by a e-type today on the road home.
I just tapped the brakes and headed for the verge leaving him half the lane.
He locked it up and stopped about a foot from me in a cloud of tyre smoke.
Heck if he an afford an e-type he can afford the repairs on mine
After all the hubbub, I guess I have to come clean and say my dream car is a 1967 Fastback, dated a guy in high school who was restoring one and fell in love (with the car not him  ) I heard he has it saved for his son now. Would love to see it now!
Four wheels move the body, two wheels move the soul
Lets not forget the Porsche 962 at the hands of the ''great'' Al Holbert... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Al_Holbert
I used to go the 6 hours of Riverside raceway every year while in high school.

Yeah, that's the truth, but once my brother bought a new Porsche, but everything wasn't excellent. Just after a week, front door lock broke. Just after a week, man, it is incredible. So, fortunately, my brother knows a good service, that can help you if your door is broken, or you lost car key. These guys served him. So, think twice before buying Porsche
