To me, noise is expected at high ISOs (I shot film years ago) so I don't have big problem with it like some do. Newer cameras seem to be doing pretty good in reducing noise these days. At that event, flash is OK , Well, I tried it with a couple of shots from not so close to the competitors and nobody complained. Then again, nobody else used flash either. Also, another concern is using flash may mean I can only shoot one frame at a time.

As for focusing, I used what they call group dynamic AF. First time ever that I've used that mode for most if not all the shots. Judging by the photos it seems to work fine.

Well, I plan to do more in the future and hopefully could get better results.
