Though it was wet, the wait was worth it for the fans who ququed for over half an hour in the rain to meet the drivers in the LMES race at Silverstone.
Having met so many drivers at Goodwood Festival of Speed over 3 years, and F1 testing, and the FIA GT championship - the autograph session was more an opportunity for my wife to to talk than collect signatures !
But since it's the first time she met Jan Lammers, out came the book

Just like on the grid for the race, those at the front got the dry seats by the ACO truck. Drivers arriving later needed their wet weather gear for the seats on the outside edge of the awning.
