I have shot track a few times and cross-country quite a bit. The head-on angle works well for your shots, especially the hurdles, which I think are the best of the bunch.
The first one looks a little too still-life for me. Almost like it was staged. Everything else really captures action, though. The only other thing is that some of these kids look like they should be out of college!
Thanks for the looks and the comments. Nothing staged here all in the heat of battle and yes they are all high schools.

I haven't tried taking any sports pictures but the more I see of them the more I want to give it a try. I did take some at a dance recital the other day at the Coliseum. I was fairly well up in the seats but I will post one that the girl really impressed me with her ability, Jeff
