    Aurora Indiana Regatta

I went to my first regatta yesterday and had a great time. Showed
up way to early but had fun walking around looking at the boats.
Wish I had a better zoom but did manage a few good photos.
going back today to watch the finish of the racing and the air show.
The photographer that travels with this group said that the air show
is very good. Because you are high upon the bank of the Ohio River,
and the bi-plane in the show will actually be lower then where you
    are standing.

Now that was a long drive for you I was in Aurora last week on the way to KY Speedway (scenic route). Great catch there. Yup definately need a longer lens to shoot these guys, but it's still a good job considering the distance.

So you coming up for the Indy airshow next week? It's at the Mt Comfort exit on I 70... get there early !

    Re: Aurora Indiana Regatta

Saturday, I had a kit lens 70-300 was very disappointed with the shots. Did get a few but even the crash was not that good.
So, Sunday morning drove to camera store that opened at noon, 50 miles away. Purchased the Canon 70-300 IS USM. I feel the pictured turned out a lot better. At least attempted some PP on them.

Would love to know how I could improve on these
    Thank You for your time.
