    52 weeks, 52 Sports

    Hi,

I had a kind of experiment this year, take 52 different Sports in pictures.

Here is a selection of one picture per Sport (it's high resolution and can be put in fullscreen)
    Hope you enjoy it

This is really impressive. Thank you very much for sharing the whole project. I enjoy your photo posts but they become much more impressive and interesting within the context of this project!
The photos are all excellent, of course. You're an excellent action photographer. But I'm most impressed that you were able to find and photograph 52 different sports. That's a big achievement! And it also explains some of the obscure and diverse stuff you've posted here. Some of those sports I've definitely never seen - the girl on the pony putting something on a pole - that one is totally new to me. And some are variations - I think you've got both slalom and giant slalom skiing. How did you develop a strategy to get all these different sports? What did you learn / discover that you didn't expect?

    Re: 52 weeks, 52 Sports

    Thanks for your feedback
sorry Jimmy, I do not know what you mean by sculling
John, you're right, I have downhill and giant, but different places...In fact I there are now 53 pics

finding 52 different sports was of course a challenge, especially with seasons all going on at the same time, but now I think I could have done some more, like Hornuss (typical Swiss sport), downhill (bike), trial...
Strategy was planning, getting contacts, etc...and arrange everything with family life ;-)
But it is really not easy when you're new to one sport to get access, avoid cancellations (weather, lack of people...), and sometimes it's just hard to find information, it's just people playing one game they all know each others and send mail between them, or they say: meeting at the stadium, usual time...which one? when? how to get there?

Really I discovered great sports like baseball (not so known in Europe, but for sure a great game with a lot of strategy), But the most important is that I learnt a lot about instants, and what could be a good picture for all of those Sports (not that I succeeded all the time, sometimes good, sometimes not too bad), and ready to share with you.

the Pony thing, you mean Pony Games, look for it, it's really great, goes fast, and many different games...gives really nice pictures.
