Suggestion To the Captain of the Ship

I would like to make a suggestion if i could ?

When replying after you have finished looking at someone's photo the photo do not appear in the same tread where you are to write a critique . I need to sometimes open a new window to be able to look at the photo and comment on it .
Would it be possible for you guys to have the photo one would like to critique on the same threat that you are writing your critique to . So you can observe the photo the whole time while giving comments.
Thought it could be a bit more practical and helpful for the guys giving comments .

Like i stated on top , iti is just a suggestion .

    Kind Regards
    james

Hi James, I'm moving your question over to site feedback, and I will let John know it's there.

    James...
For the time being you can use the "Quick Reply" option in every thread. If you click Quick Reply you will be able to use the message window at the bottom of the thread to reply while being able to scroll up to reference the whole thread or a specific post in the thread. Once you are happy with your reply you can click the "Go Advanced" button to get access to the text editing features within the message window before finaly posting. This should give you an efficient work around for the time being..

    cheers....

    One thing I do...

When I comment on photos, one thing I do, is right click on "reply to this post" and select "open in new window" so I can still refer to the photograph.
If the person posted the image using html tags, [img] the image can still be seen below. When the person uploaded the image to the pr.com servers is when you can't see it when commenting
    Make sense?

    Good Idea

    James-
That's a great suggestion. I think it's even been mentioned before. I think you said you usually right-click and open a new window so that you can see the image while you're posting your critique. So I can't mention that workaround. I saw that someone else pointed out that the "Quick Reply" button allows you to post a reply while still viewing the image. That's one option. I'll also talk to my developers and see if we can't make some changes so that the image stays when you're posting a reply.

Thanks for the suggestion and thanks for being a conscientious critic.
