Best way to ship photos?

A tube? Flat? Something else?

I have this stack of prints that I meant to bring to Chicago, but I rushed out of the house Saturday morning and left them in the closet.

Depending on size, tubes or stiff cardboard in evelopes works well. I use Priority Mail FLat Rate envelopes for up to 8x10s, with a thick piece of cardboard in there to make it REALLY stiff.

I ship small prints the same way, just make sure to put a piece or two of cardboard in there and write "do not bend" (like they really pay attention to that anyway...). Probably best if the cardboard is the same size as the envelope even if the print isn't that big.
