    New Computer forums link

I don't like the way it takes you away from this site, it should pop-up a new window like the links down the bottom does, I think that opens up for people to leave the site too much (guests that is) and might not come back to this site.

    I agree

Unfortunately, I'm not sure this forum software allows the link to open in a new window and list the forum as it does. On the other hand, any new visitor that goes right to the computing forums might not really belong here. And - there are also now links in the computing forums for some of these forums. So I think it's ok. But I do agree with you that it's not the optimal setup.

If the link down the bottom with the different websites, opens in a new window like it does, then the code would virtually be the same. The code just needs to be when pressed open in a new window syntax, maybe something was missed from the link when it was put in the forums. I mean it is php and that is pretty editable by programers. I did notice there were links back to photographyreview.com when I first selected the link.

    Not that simple

The links at the bottom are from a footer file. The actual forum links are part of .php templates. I'm sure I could edit them so that it would open in a new window. But then every time we upgraded the software there would be one more customized piece of code to manually update. This is the best compromise for the current setup.
