    sunrise birds lake boat

    odd title but I don't know how to call this one

    pulled the shadows a bit on the foreground bird, not sure it works

    What do you think ? comments or critiques ?

    I think you should clone the duck tail on the left. I wish there was a little more seperation between the subjects also. Still a very nice shot. I like that they are all looking the same way.

    I agree the bird on the left, that's cutoff, gotta go. should be an easy cloning job.

    My favourite part of this photo is the bird on the right nad how in focus even the reflection is.

    The number 3 is important in both design and photography. i like how there are three major elements in play here.

    I'm not a fan of the twigs in the middle, especially the top two that look like an upside down Y.

    other than that great golden hues. I'm torn about the DOF though, I wonder what this would've looked like had everything been in focus.

    agree about the tail on the left, but beyond that, I like this. Great color and composition, I like the shallow DoF

    To be honest I didn't noticed the duck tail until mentioned here , I agree it has to go.

    The DOF of the 300mm may not improve much I was at F11, and I like the effect of the long lens

    About everyone looking left, I did consider calling the photo "Looking left"
