    Lake, Boat, Dock and Tree

A quiet composition on Bohinjsko Jezero, Slovenia's largest lake.

I really like seeing the bottom of the lake in the foreground. There is good framing with the tree on the right and lots of leading lines.

If it were me I might crop a bit off the top to make the horizon less centered in the frame.

I agree with mb1 on the crop. The framing too.

I really like this, but I find the tree distracting. Do you have any without it? I think the tones of the water, the boat and the hills in the bg are very harmonious, but that giant tree just bullies them all out of the way.

very nice colors, also like that everything is sharp, I feel like taking a step forward to see what is beyond the tree

Interesting critiques...thanks all. Will shortly post a horizontal version sans tree and centered horizon line.
