    Cyclocross - monochrome


    I don't usually play around with monochrome conversion, because it lacks the qualities of film that B& W is all about to me, but I like this one. I clipped the front wheel, but the sand spray makes up for it...
    It's not about the camera....

    Nice! The sand spray is great! I'm still sorting mine. I ended up shooting the majority of my photos at this spot, varying my angle and playing with off-camera flash. I post some later today after I get some real work done

    Thanks for sharing. Post some costume photos, too!

    Looking at this, my first thought was dirty slushy snow.
    I expected that the ground would be darker, but it's sand not mud.
    the camera may not have lied, but my eyes did!

    Snow would have been great, Paul. But no luck. It did rain, though - poured, in fact. I'm still sorting my photos from Saturday but I finally got to shoot some CX rain photos. I've got my fingers crossed that I got some good ones. Maybe Chris has some to share, too.
