    Sunrise @ GG Bridge

I decided to try a different time of day for the same location. I was hoping the fog would be in it's "usual" morning spot flowing through the bridge itself, but as you can see it is just hovering in the background over the city.

I do prefer the colors better here as opposed to "sunset/night" shots I did before.

    Thoughts?

    Thanks

It sure is photogenic, isn't it? The gold is great esp the way it complements the blue. The only bad thing, I think, is that the reflection looks a little odd here (?). It's also not as sharp/detailed as it could be I believe, esp on the left, and maybe taking this 5-10 minutes earlier, when it wasnt as dark on the right side, would have been even better. Still - all nit picks.

I actually like the reflection. It has a nice bold color to it. I also think that this is a great time of day that you captured.

I might be a nit pick but I really would like you to PS that light on the top "on". Just make a dulpicate layer, lasso the light on the left and paste/copy it were the one is out. You really have improved very quickly. Nice work.

Thanks everyone for the feedback. Yea, Greg it is strange. There is a light off on both towers I guess all the time. I will screw around with it and see what I can do.

    Thanks for the compliments!

    Josh,

You've done very nicely here. Usually this shot is covered in fog, or it's taken at night and the lighting in the sky is over on the west (right side). As for the lights, I think they alternate blinking between the sides.

The only downside to this shot is that it's been done a zillion times. I have a bunch from probably this same spot, but I never post them for that very reason. Now that probably won't matter to anyone else, but that's my $0.02.
