    Verrazano Bridge . . . At Sunrise

I love the clean lines of this bridge, which might explain why this is the second time I've taken it's image. The first was last year during the night, which I posted at that time.
How do you feel of this?
    Thanks

Crisply composed and perfectly exposed image. Beautiful light - and the birds are a neat finishing touch.

    Well done, Gary.

Gary, I believe that this is an excellent picture for all the reasons already mentionned.
The lighting is dead on, so is your composition. I like the sun glow on the structure and the sky has awesome colors.

Tuna, Matt, Seb . . .thanks for the response. The sun was going in and out of the clouds as i stood there next to the tripod with hand on the remote. I was pleased to see the birds fly by as the sun popped out again to hit the bridge

    Gary,

Your images never let me down, this one included. Your patients paid off, and I think the birds add a nice touch to the photo. The light is just incredible.

I like this photograph Gary and it is good to see you doing some color too.
But I think you are capable of more.
I like this for much the same reasons as everyone else has stated.

The lighting is incredible and the composition is great. This image actually looks marketable. (I'd try to market this if I were you) This is by far one of your strongest bridge pics.

Re: Verrazano Bridge . . . At Sunrise

Micheal . . .thanks for the kind words and thoughts. I don't have many patients and I doubt they would pay off as I don't have a practicing license . . . but I get your drift ( I just could not resist)

Brian . . .comments from you are always appreciated. Yeah, color is cool too.

Nina . . .I think you may be right. There are lots of Verrazano Bridge lovers here in Brooklyn and maybe at the next arts festival this shot may pay for itself. Thanks for your support.

I agree. Someone pulled one from Gary's early pictures too. 2005. Exactly when did you take up photography Gary?

Wow, what a blast from the past! lol Shumaya, I posted this thread back in 2005, but I thank you for your interest. It is from the Brooklyn side on a morning in May sometime around 6:00AM. Shot with 35mm film. . .Fuji Reala, I believe it was.

Thanks , but this image has since been given some "fine tuning" to bring out more contrast, tone, and saturation.

Hey Greg, I started seriously sometime towards the end of 2003 and joined PR in 2004.

Struggling to fault, perhaps the far tower is listing to port a bit, other than that, love it.

Re: Verrazano Bridge . . . At Sunrise

Really nice image Gary. I also find the lines, and geometrics, very powerful. My first impression is that the bottom part of the image is much more powerful than the top, but catching those birds helps fill in that empty area on the top right. Still, I wish they were higher and perhaps farther right: maybe you have another version?
