    Eye on the Ball

Derrick Lee of the Cubs getting ready to hit his first inning home run against the Reds on July 18, 2005. Yeah, I was on vacation.

The woman on the left chose a most inopportune moment to be there. I'd like to have seen it cropped some, or a tighter shot on Lee, but sometimes you have to go with what you have at the moment.

Thanks for the comments! This was one of those games where people were popping up and down like gophers. May have been due to the heat and humidity and running to the cooling stations. Not REAL baseball fans ;).

I did try cropping this one but it lost something.

I hear ya...I'm constantly trying to find a spot where nobody is in front of me or getting up and down, but sometimes it's nearly impossible.
