Hello folks, it's my first time on this board so please be gentle with me.![]()
I have an Epson 2200 that I purchased over 1 year ago. I haven't used it for a few months and went to make some prints the other day. I run XP and service pack 2.
I got as far as to choose my paper type when I decided to use up my 4" glossy roll. I cancelled the print job and set up the roller and then went to print. Alas, I now only see 3 different paper types to pick from: enhanced matte, velvet fine art & watercolor paper radiant-white. No glossy at all!![]()
Thinking the drivers were out of date, I logged onto Epson's site and downloaded the appropriate updates. I installed them and rebooted. No change.
This morning, I completely uninstalled all the Epson software and then installed ONLY the new software/drivers that Epson offers including updates on the profiles.
Once again, I checked and had about 6 or so paper types available to me. Wonderful. Problem fixed.
I cancelled the print job, loaded up the 4" roll and BAMMO! Only 3 are available to me again.![]()
I was curious if anyone else had this problem and if so, what was the solution.
TIA.
Jim
