    The Tube

What is it about using trains that makes so many of us want to take pictures of our fellow passengers? Perhaps its because they are one of those few ocassions we find ourselves cooped up with strangers, and you can't help but start observing them.

I suspect that a lot of people will look at this and think 'so what?', but for me it seems like such a 'typical' scene from the London Underground that it does a fairly good job of representing them all for me, so I rather like it.

    Matt,

I like it, yet it feels very busy and crammed in. Either more view, or maybe isolating one side of the train would be better. That being said, if you were trying to capture the busyness, you did well.

I like your photo being a country boy i dont often get the chance to C how the rest of the world travels from home to work apart from the accasional bus. That being said the only critique that i have here is the angle of wich the photo was taken (part of head missing) but no biggy at that , i know it must be hard to get a photo like this without someone noticing and then starting to pose for you . Again well done .

    Re: The Tube

Crammed in and busy is pretty much the tube in three words, although I think this was one of the last ones of the night, so it looks quite civilised! When I was thinking about this, the idea of a shot that was composed 'too' well just didn't seem quite right, which was why I decided to live with people drifting off frame. The tube can feel anything but well composed most of the time ;)

Thank you for looking and commenting - much appreciated
