Can't tell you exactly where, but I think its Midtown near Times Square. Not a bad photo but a fairly common dead-on perspective. WIth somethng like this I try some differnent appriaches and angles if I have time - kneel under it and shoot up, shoot from the side, etc. to tell a different story.

I agree with Lava about the 'blandness' of the shot. It's a great subject, but it just needs something else. Quality wise, it's great, the colors look good. Nice shot, just maybe try some different crops and see if you have any other angles,

    Nice shooting,

I've seen this before, but cannot remember where it is. I'm feeling this is more near Columbus circle somewhere. I feel this is cropped too tightly, and a tad dark as the details in the face are lost. that can probably be brought out with a little curves adj. Good subject

I like the shot but it seems a little tight to me also, I don't know what adjustment you could have made with the 2MP Kodak (if it is like mine probably not much) but less DOF and a bit of a wider crop may have helped.

    IMHO

Funny thing about this one i flipped my cameras to be able to take in the max height i could for some reason , so there was no croping hehe.
