    Re: Last rays

very unconventional take. love the quality of light in this one. the orangish cast works really well here. i wish the pole on the left was all included or left out. i think a little wider shot might have improved it, but that will depend on what the composition would look like. overall though, i think the strongest part of this is the great light. well done.

    beautiful light

I'm trying to think what to improve, and I can only think that I wish the fence wasn't there, the rolling hills in the background are incredibly beautiful, but at the same time I enjoy the light on the poles and the foreground grass

The light on the cloud I think is a bit blown , do you own a GND filter, than can help control that brightness, or some HDR

    Great shot anyway !!

VERY golden, looks like a perfect usage of the Golden Hour lighting. I like your shot here, very powerful, but I also find it missing a subject. Sometimes fences don't need one or are one, but here the way it opens up .. not sure, maybe the cloud's the subject? Too bad a sheep didn't walk up and poke his head through!

Appreciate the comment armando and AE the light really was great and little haze made conditions ideal.
Thanks Greg the sheep was just s few metres away down the hill behind the fence, must have been camera shy........

I like the fence being there and the left post doesn't bother me. I think it would leave the left side bare if it were removed or cropped out. I also like the light and with the fence in front, it gives me the feeling of looking through a window and seeing the meadow and hills, Jeff
