    Rock Rays

    this effect certainly wasn't intended, but welcomed after the fact.

    It would be much better if the streaks were below them instead of above them.

    That is why you want to use second curtain flash.....
    No, I DON'T need that.

    what is second curtain flash?
    Well, the effect you got was due the flash gonig off before the "curtain" of the shutter closes, usually this might happen if you are shooting say 1/15 with the flash on. What MB is referring to is a setting on your hot shoe flash that makes the flash fire just before the shutter closes which would in this case put the people on top of the cool streaks instead of the other way around. :thumbsup:
