    Recycled buildings in West Texas

This is one more from my Big Bend trip series. We staid at a Bed and Breakfast in Marathon that was built almost entirely from recycled materials. The couple that ran the place were very eclectic and fascinating in their endevours to build environmentally sound buildings. More shots of their garden, houses and Big Bend to follow. This pic is just an angle I found interesting on a lamp and old windows on our room.

Definately an interesting shot with alot of history and feeling to it. There are a few things though that I think you can post process to make things work. First, I feel you need this black and white or more saturated colors. Also, the light is a little soft, and I wouldn't mind seeing it more defined on the background.

Overall, a nice shot, and a few things you can do to make it even better,

I'd lean towards b&w as opposed to more saturated colors. And maybe crop just a bit off the left. I see what your trying to do with it, but it's too much on the left for me. Maybe a 4x5 format instead of 4x6?
