Yoyo - I really like the contrast between the old and new buildings here, and the way they are defined in space with the old buildings retreating into the shot until they clash against the vertical wall of the new. The figure of the man is also well placed to give a sense of scale and human interest.
The monitor I'm using while I type this is pretty dodgy, so I can't tell too much about the tones I'm afraid, but I think this is an interesting and well executed shot. Nice work.
I don't think if you were going for tall and short that this image really works. The contrast between old and new is too strong. However, this image is very interesting in that bent.
I always enjoy your work my friend.

I agree with almo. The old/new contrast is alot heavier then tall/small. I think this is because the taller buildings seem a tad washed out and over exposed (atleast in my monitor). Love the concept, and could easily be fixed up in PS.
I do love black and whites. Although there is a striking difference in the height of the buildings I find this pic interesting and does have alot of character.
This shot does a great job of contrasting the ways of life in tall and short buildings. What a difference! It gets us thinking about how life must be in each. Lots to look at and enjoy in this shot.
I like the shot, the newer building are overexposed but that starkness adds to the picture for me any adjustment would be mild. Shows good composition just minor technical issues.
Yo-
I think this shots composition is great. The blow outs on the larger/newer structures are distracting, but the shot still has that "Wow" factor, nonetheless. As far as the title being Tall and Short buildings, I think the image tells a story more in tune with old and new, or prosperity and poverty?
