    Portrait of Mask

This is one of a few prop masks I had been working with in numerous shots. It is basically set up against a black bacdrop. I used candle light in front of the mask and held another candle while moving it around the features during a 30 second shutter speed. I used a 1:2 macro lens zoomed to approx 260 mm at 5.6. I enamalized the mask slightly in paint shop pro 8 and added a lighting effect from the upper left corner, and then shadowed as best I could where I thought shadows should be. Also had to clean it up some after scanning it from the negative. I like the result . Would like to know if others feel it is a visually appealing result as well
    Thanks

    Very creative...

...and a good result! I like the glow of the mask in combination with the dark background.
    Well done.

Excellent image. I like the colors and the way you can make out the textures. No background makes it intriguing.
