    The Pier View

Taken with the modest Minolta DiMage X20 under the Pier at Bournemouth , South Coast ,England. A simple shot using the cameras basic but effective optical zoom. Bournemouth is a large affluent English seaside resort.

I really like the composition and framing, but the part of the pier or whatever it is at the top left in the background, really distracts me. Maybe you could reposition yourself and not include that in the framing? Other (and more experienced) members may disagree with what I see, so take it lightly. Overall, I like this picture. Nice work.

Thanks - it was another snap without any cropping etc - I just liked the sight of the waves and the structure of the Pier - I know this spot very well - but hadn't noticed the photo opportunities it offered until a took this snap and looked at it back at base. I surprised myself actually.
