    The Perfect Model

Yep, my daughter is the perfect model! I took these one day in front of our big windows. I hung a black blanket behind her and took pictures for about 15 minutes, because that is all she would allow. These are some of my favorites and just wanted to see what you guys thought. I ended up getting 2 of these and one other printed on glossy 8x10 and they turned out fantastic. Everyone ooos and ahhs over them when they come over. But I think you can always learn from other people's point of views, so I thought I would share.

I meant to say that 2 of them are not perfectly focused because she was playing with a toy and did not want to look up at me so when she did, I took them as fast as I could before she went back down again! But I kind of like this "natural" look.

    Thanks!k

    Re: The Perfect Model

These are very nice shots. I like the last one as it is focused sharp on the eyes and expression is good. The middle one would have been very good if it had been in focus and sharper. But as you said the child was moving around and was difficult. They are all suffering from highlights being blown out. The brighter areas on the babies left side(or right side in the frame) are blown out or overexposed. A slightly more even lighting and maybe a reflector lighting the other asrea might have helped the blowout. but still nice looking shots as they are.

Unfortunently I can't offer as constructive of critique, I am pretty new, but I really like these pictures., especially the last one. The pose is great and the look on his face is priceless.
