    Path

    Any critique welcome
    Taken with a point/shoot camera with no editing done except to crop a bit.
    In the second, the contrast is edited.

    I like the idea but to me the subject seems a bit robotic. I think the composition is nice and the exposure looks good. I almost think that I would like to see some of the subject’s face or maybe a little bit more of the woods or of where the path is leading.

    Thank you for your comment. I think, in my mind, the subject was the focus of the photo. I have similar ones with the subject further away from me. That seems to work quite well.

    Here is another one with the same subject but different place.
    *keep in mind that I have an ancient scanner which takes away from quality of the photos*

    I don't like this photo too much. I don't know why, but I just don't like it.
    What do you mean 'how come photographers are so ugly all the time'? That's because they never have to stand in front of the camera.

    The shot ( original post) is not bad and I like the less saturated version better. I think it is framed well, but may not be so strong as a stand alone type shot but rather one in a series of the hike that day.
