    The Oldest Building in Idaho

The Cataldo Mission, the oldest building in Idaho...These are the only pictures I've taken in a while, so I figured I'd post them, even if they aren't the best...

    DBF,

Nice shooting. I enjoy your second shot, as there isn't a bush infront of the building! Great colors, and lovely layering. How old is the building?! It looks like an interesting subject to shoot!

Both images are very nice. I like the light and the lovely green colors. The buildings also have a lot of character.
Shoot in RAW because memory is cheap, but memories are priceless.

I like the potential and think that your image would be stronger if only you got closer and your main focus were on the building(s). The grass and brush in the fg and the bg are just too much of a distraction for me.

I really like these images for the colors and the light. I'm with Nina on this one and think that your subject is too small to be considered the main subject. I see the main subject in these photos as the landscape itself (colors and light), and the building adds a very nice 2nd point of interest for me. Definitly a place to go back to often.

    Hi,
Both are nice photos. It is interesting that the grass in the first is so bright and saturated (because of sunlight?) while the second one is muted.
