    Question My First Thread

    Here is a picture i took at indian key in florida
    i used a polarizer and thats it i have an n97 and the lens that cam with it
    for some reason when i got it developed it looks sharp i dont know y mabey cause i used 200 speed film i dont know someone help me on this

    My opinions are:

    These pics are great, that is a GREAT location, I'd love to visit there. But, what are these pictures showing and saying? I know this sounds dumb, but what I think/ask to myself when I am taking pictures is:

    - What am I trying to show here?
    - Would I hang this on my wall?
    - Would SOMEONE ELSE hang this on their wall?
    - What is the story in this picture?

    I personally don't find these to my preferance, so I wouldn't hang them in my living room. As far as others, I can't say on these, some people might like the beach. As far as a story, there's none, that's the problem. These are GREAT beach real estate pictures.

    You've got a good eye and a great location, just try and give the pictures more of a statement, more of a "THIS IS A PICTURE OF..."
