    Mushroom of some kind.

    Dont know what kind of mushroom this is all i know it was right on the side of the road, its about 10 inches in diameter.

    I like the subject, Knight. I think there should be a little more detail and exposure in the shadow area underneath the mushroom, and placing it a bit more to the upper right corner ( crop the top and right side a small amount equally) would help it from appearing centered. I like how the leaves are framing the subject.

    Gary has managed to hit all my points on this photo. One other bit I can add is that the edges of the mushroom seem a little blown out on my monitor, but that could be just my gear.

    I would love to see a lttle more of the grain in the wood.

    I will C what i can do about the points you both mentioned , i took several photos there may be another with more detail. i had to be quick taking this one because it was on the side of a logging road and the big log trucks realy zoom by

    Ok heres a redo with a bit more croping and more detail of the log its sitting on . I hope i did not lighten the photo to much.
