Work has shipped me off to Dothan Alabama for the next 6 weeks. Due to the near total lack of models in this area of the country (at least the ones that list themselves as such in all the usual places) I decided to venture out to see what I could find to shoot in this little Southern town. Came across this, riding through town this afternoon. Thoughts? Too symetrical? overprocessed?

Jet - I quite like this.I like the symmetry and colors. I also think you made the right choice with the panoramic crop and the position of the cyclist.

Nice work Jet. I don't think there is a better way of doing this one. I keep wanting to see a closer crop even eliminating part of the sign but that leaves a problem with the window.

Glad everyone likes it, took quite a bit of photoshop to get it from how it came out of the camera to this. Wish the bicyclist would have come along a few minutes later though :lol:.
Most of this town is just old and run down, without being particularly photogenic, but I'm finding a few nuggets here and there. If anybody wants to see more of Dothan and the surrounding countryside there's an album on my facebook page with lots more stuff that I'll be updating frequently while here Dothan AL Trip
