Used to see that kind of thing around here on occasion but many of the farms have become housing developments.

Love the scene. Thanks for sharing it!

I still see this type of activity in my area. I call it a Wisconsin Traffic Jam. I came around a bend in the road once on my motorcycle only to find the road blocked with cows...

It's not so much a hobby as it is a way of life in my area. We still have lots of small, family run dairy farms in Wisconsin. In some counties we have more cows than people. Our license plates use to say "The Dairy State".

And very good cheese! Those talking California cows got nothing on the ones that give me Wisconsin Cheddar

Yeah, we do have some good cheese! We have a cheese factory here in town that is about to come out with their 2nd batch of 15 year old cheddar. I would love to try it but it's $50/pound... Still might be worth it though.

California cows might not have cold winters but then Wisconsin cows don't have to worry about earthquakes or wildfires.

    Re: Milk on the mooove

I got my honda s2000 in amidst a cattle drive in colorado once. Rather disconcerting in a small convertible. The cowboys didn't seem worried about me driving through though, so I was cool. Had I been on a motorcycle I would have turned around.

Nice shot. Great sharpness in the first.
