    Marathon Man

    Taken last weekend at the Va. Beach !/2 Marathon. All comments/critique appreciated.

    what a nice shot... a nice contrast shame you didnt catch him a fraction later...you would have seen more of his foot (nitpicking i know) i really do like it... nice one

    Agreed. Or maybe if I had simply been a foot to the left...I believe if I had taken the shot a fraction later the runners balance would be different on his leading foot and I'm not sure what it would look like then...

    Excellent Silhouette

    Great Silhouette! I love the sky, very impactful!
    I would agree about the one foot, but it still works.
    Good use of "Rule of Thirds" too. The lines from the railing create tension to the runner and cause your eye to flow nicley through the photograph.
    Great capture!

    I really like this- I think everything is laid out nicely in this. The silhoutte is awesome.
    The back ground is perfect.

    Great work. i like this alot. Agreed about the foot, but no problem. Dramatic sky, great silhoutte and nice to see some light and detail on the surface on which he is running. good stuff
