    Man on Bench

My town has implemented without the voter's consent a ban on smoking in bars, restaurants, bowling alleys and bingo halls. Anyone who violates the ordinance and is caught is charged with a 4th degree misdemeanor and given up to a $600 fine which is more than the state maximum allows.

This photo is one small diner's final solution to question of public health.

I like this shot, I'm into street photography. The color cast detracts a bit though, is this with tungsten film, or did you forget to set your white balance? I like the grain though. I think this would really look great in b&w, especially since it's grainy. Nice job.

Oops. I forgot to mention that this is a night shot and it was a couple of stops underexposed so the noise you see is a result of that. White balance was set on auto. I didn't like the yellow cast so I adjusted the color temp to 7500. I agree that this b&w is better for this one.

Hmm, i dunno about black and white for this photo, it lacks a certain pop that the original had. If you wanna go black and white, perhaps a black and white slightly toned a color?
