    Make a simple Flower Interesting

Out hiking one day, shot of a run of the mill flower, but trying to make it more interesting through the shot/angle,DOF. Feedback on whether it works for you, things to change or if the subject was just not interesting enough to begin with.
    Thanks!

Re: Make a simple Flower Interesting

In my opion everything is interesting and threby worth taking picture of. Things touch us in different ways, though, and many will desagree with me.

What I like about your photo is the format. Cropping your picture like that sure made that little, simple flower to dominate the composition. My eyes goes first to the flower, then to that blossom at its right, and finally to that white thing. Because of that, I would preffer positioning these three elements to the left portions of the frame, so that our eyes flows with these elements to the right. What do you think?

Thanks for posting that simple photo. Hope to see more of that soon!

    Best regards

    Erich

You have made a simple flower interesting and also made an interesting little picture. Have rarely seen a letterbox format with flowers so good on you for trying.
    Very Nice
