    Lonely Rose (B&W)

    Hello another black and white conversion by me. I found something interesting in LR3 in camera calibration (Shadow) I used to to darken the background and lighten up the foreground a little bit.

    any suggestions for improvement?

    This is a really fascinating shot! The images/shadows in the the background are interesting without distracting the subject.

    The only thing I'd like to see is other roses in the background, otherwise a nice angle on a potentially average subject.
    mostly Nikon gear

    I think it works. I don't like how your signature is in the middle of hte shot though. bottom right is the norm for a reason
