    That is a very nice scene. Looks like velvet. Good eye.
    Check how this crop simplifies it even more and accentuates the velvety texture. That scar of land at the top was fighting for attention.

    Beautiful view and shot. The subject here, to me, are the lines and contour of the land.
    I took it over to P.S. and did a crop. My opinion only..........but I like it with the windmill and the house (bldg?) in the center. Crop out the exposed terrain / powerlines up at the top.

    I agree with Jon's suggestion to get rid of the death earth on top. I prefer you other Barn shot though.

    I like the idea of croping a bit too, and adding a bit of conrast and saturation - but what a wonderful area for taking photo's, the mood of "Lonely" definitely comes through well.
