    Lonely Tree

Alright, the thing behind this picture is that i found it very unique. The reason is that there were huge ponderosa pines all around and they were all really close together, except for this little sapling, so i thought i would photograph it, yeah i like it, but it is very simple, what do you guys think.

I think the idea is a good one, but this particular shot doesn't really do anything for me. I think it is the trunks in the background. Do you have any others that are maybe a different angle?

    What were your settings?

A strong composition but it's a pitty that the dark trunks in the background are distracting.

I have the same reaction as the others, the tree trunks in the background are too distracting (and make the tree seem less lonely as well). Like the concept, I've tried similar things and have yet to pull it off.
