    Living Water

I took this the other morning just as the sun was rising. Had a hard time adjusting colors to more neutral while still keeping the warmth of the morning light. Any and all comments welcome.

    Wow.

Very nice, tight shot, I think you did good with the color corrections, I see white in there, and It seems to be free of any color cast.

WOW! Does that say enough? How about WOW WOW!
I can't see anything that should be done to improve this- this is clearly the work of a professional. Sell this for an obscene sum of money immediately! I have a thing for waterfalls and moving water, and this image makes me terribly jealous. You've done such a great job, I can't think of anything to criticize.
How about the equipment used/exposure settings/location? And did I mention WOW!?

Thank you both for your kind comments. I shot this just before sunrise using an Olympus E20 Setting were f/11 @ 2.0 seconds. Shot in raw mode white balance set at 6500 and ISO set at 80. Hope that helps.

    Colorful!

This is a very colorful image.
    The compositon is good too!
Your eye flows through the rocks.

Well seen and beautifully captured. I have no suggestions on the photo (you've done excellently). As for your frame, the black background suits the photo but, in my opinion, the white strip isn't necessary - might even take away from the overall presentation.

    Nice job!

    Hi all,

Thanks for all your comments and kind words. Tuna I'm experimenting with matting and apprecite your thoughts. I have posted a couple more images with different matting with your suggestion in mind. Again thank to all.

I like this one a lot as well. Not as abstract as the other, but still very good. The one thing I'd do: crop or clone out the tiny pebbles at teh very top right of the frame. For some reason my eye gets stuck there because it's on the corner of the frame. Otherwise you did a great job with the exposure IMO. Colors, flow....everything works.

I might also consider using a thinner black border, although black in general is OK. If you're worried about using a reddish-brown because it might detract from the dark colors inteh shot, maybe try more of a slate color?

    Thanks PuckJunkey,

I wondered about those rocks. I think it is the brightness around them. Here is a revised version.
