    Life

This is why I have to shoot me and nobody else. I can take advantage of my, um, patina, but I can't shoot beauty very effectively, Still have some learning to do.

Mouth is to close to the bottom edge for my taste. I don't know what the object is on the right.

I like the clarity of the image. The contrast goes with the serious look.

Object on the right is a reflection of my hair. I agree with the mouth thing, but was trying to get my eyes as big as possible.

    Re: Life

I know I take too many self-portraits, because I am too lazy to hire models, but I think this is one of my better efforts. I know the composition isn't fantastic, but I nailed the eyes and the general PP is rather restrained for me. Anyway. just expressing my opinion.

The eyes dominate this image and I assume that is your intent. I agree that this is probably the best of this series, nice one daq.

Isn't it a cool thing in nature that the colours never seem to clash...

I will shortly be trying to take macro shots of just the eye lit with bright flash from various angles.
