    Re: Last shot in series

You have really personified these little guys. I'm starting to look for human attributes. Like he's reaching up for that leaf to pull it down off the shelf. I almost want to see a crown on his fat little royal head.

The other one you posted, of the caterpillar curled up on the mushroom ... I know it's a caterpillar on a mushroom eating a leaf, BUT, when I think back on my memory of the picture, I almost think I remember seeing a newspaper in his hand...he was curled up on his bean bag chair, reading the newspaper.

I hope you don't think I'm an idiot. I'm just saying this because your photos have such life and personification and interest to them. They are voluptuous, they are humorous, and they really get the mind going.

    Peter...

Your caterpillars remind me of the one in Alice in Wonderland. This one is just beautiful. He seems like he has a personality and I like him! Your colors are so vibrant and everything about this photo looks wonderful. What is the white patch under his little foot? that's the only thing that bugs me. No worries, i get over it quickly when I look around that fantasy that you captured. Very very nice!

    It's me again..

I hope you don't mind but I downloaded it and put it on my desktop because I just can't quit looking at it. I love it more each time. I just want to see it whenever I want without coming here. Thank you so much for taking it. It brings back childhood feelings to me for some reason.

I love the vibrant colors in this photo, and i agree with Kelly about the "personification" I see a little old bald man, reaching up for his food.... Would be even better with the stick that is parallel to his body gone, but Great Lighting and Comp

    Excellent job!

No Problem I intentionally made it small so that it could not be used for anything commercial.

The white patch is a highlight which is more easily seen for what it is on the larger version, although I may decide to clone it out when I take a closer look at the work later.

Thanks for all the kind comments.

I disagree about the stick actually, it would be empty otherwise and the stick follows the same angle as his body and the same angle as the veins in the leaves..

It didn't bother me at all the first time I viewed it, and the second time it did a little, but not much, I still think its an awesome photo, with the branch! I guess its subjective.
