Nice Dof, really sharp. Great gaze from the cat. lovely hues. nice whiskers and beautiful eyes.

the thing that bothers me here are the cutoff ears. other than that, looks good.

Thx Liban! I was going to mention the fact in my original post that I don't like the cutoff ears either, but I thought I'd leave it up to the one giving the critique. I completely agree, and I wish I had framed the tops of the ears in there when I took the shot! This image is SOOC, only saved as .jpg from raw, and resized per forum size limits.

Thanks Josh - I'm loving my 85mm 1.8 USM! Just purchased my first L series lens this morning - due here tomorrow - can't wait! Also loving the fact that the XSi is going to produce even better images with the L glass!
