    Hard passage B&W

    I shot this at Pawleys island South Carolina in 2002. I loved the way the hand rail took a bend downward toward the ground and how your eyes are directed to the end of the dock. Nikon F100
    Tmax 400
    Tmax developer
    Scanned with Epson 3170

    Little out of focus, otherwise I like it. Having spent many days and hours in places like that, I am always fond of "the houses across the marsh" look. The only thing I might've done different is to stand back a bit further so that one post doesn't obscure the house on the left.

    I like it. I think the original probably looks better and in sharper focus as I think that scanning photos on a flatbed scanner loses something where scanning negs on a dedicated film scanner produces better results. I like the birdhouse is it? on the top of the post. It resembles the houses across the marsh.

    i agree with the out of focus issue, the flat bed scanner does not have a great neg. holder,
