    Faces in the wood

    Hi all,

After going out on my spare last period today, I found these neat little carving's in the wood. Whether or not these are considered macro, they're a lame attempt at one. Anywho, enjoy and as always, all comments are appreciated,

    Thanks again,

    Jared

    Re: Faces in the wood

Nice shots, the more that I like the wood art a lot. But honestly only the first photo reminds me a face. And I realize that it is a result of a human, not a nature??? It would be too amazingly that a tree has grown up in such texture on his own. However, very interesting view.

You have hit a very interesting subject, which I, for instance, call "natural architecture". I share one image on this subject, a tree in which really reminds me a whole head of... a tree

Thanks Gohan, I appreciate the comments. Unfortuantely, yes, there all result of humans, not natural workings. The first one, as you pointed out has a face. The second one, I thought was just a nice shot of a birds nest, and the third one has a wolf/coyote/*insert your type of four legged dog sized animal here* barking upwards.

I like your shot, it's amazing what natural causes can do!

    Thanks again,

    Jared

    Thanks for the answer.

I see that you are the one who tries to be active at this forum and reply to every received post. Hence I invite you to my thread by a title "Want to laugh? Click here!" and I would be thankful for your comments... (I worked much and it seems I will receive very less feedback)

Not a problem at all Gohan. The way I look at it, you usually get as much as you contribute, so I guess it's a real test of that theory then. And, considering I have no life, it makes me being active on these boards so much easier And off I goto your thread!

    Thanks again,

    Jared
